Welcome to the quick and easy guide to feeding Eonians!
If this is your first time, it's natural to be nervous, and they completely understand. For Eonians, it's a great honor to have someone offer to feed them, as they feed off of experiences of the soul.
If this is your first time, it's natural to be nervous, and they completely understand. For Eonians, it's a great honor to have someone offer to feed them, as they feed off of experiences of the soul. Rest assured, the process is discreet, quick, relatively painless, and mess-free too!
You see, unlike feeding our vampiric peers, Eonians don’t require physical contact to access what they need in order to eat. What you’ll feel is a temporary link to your soul, which sometimes can pinch if you’re not used to having someone poking around in there (and especially so if you’re an elemental, it takes a bit more force to poke through the core to get to what they need.)
This pain, however is temporary, only lasting for about as long as a pinch from a needle would! If it lasts longer please seek immediate medical assistance.
I repeat:
You should only feel one short, sharp sting for a breif moment. If pain persists, stop feeding and seek medical assistance.
After that, you just wait for them to do their thing! It only takes a few minutes at most, and it ensures everyone’s health and safety! You can sit and scroll, or even converse with them if you’d like. Everyone has a different approach, however, and it’s important to set expectations around feedings before they begin, so make sure to talk to your Eonian and ask what they’d like to do as well!
If you’d like more information on the tradition, one of our students has posted a blogpost discussing the history of Eonian feedings, and why it’s important to them, please take a look and don’t be afraid to come to our Belonging Center to ask more questions!
